Bird watching

The north shore of the Gulf of Riga is extremely varied in both the nature as well as bird species, because the area is suitable for both bog and sea birds: sea eagle, black stork, small spotted eagle, crane, horned grebe, black grouse, sandpiper... The area includes the 1,100 hectare Lindi nature reserve area, Kastna juniper field and Kavaru beach meadow, all of them equipped with a bird-watching tower.
